Ackland (Pete) Pitre, 56, died 4:15 am Wednesday.
Visitation will be until midnight today at Chauvin Funeral Home, resuming 8 am
Friday and continuing until funeral time. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at
Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with burial following in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Elvire (Daisy) Pellegrin Pitre; two brothers,
Oris and Morris Pitre of Bayou Dularge; two sisters, Mrs. Claude (Mae)
Boudreaux and Lafayette and Mrs. Roy (Daisy) Cunningham of Houma.
He is preceded in death by his father, Marius Pitre; a brother, Reynold Pitre;
and a sister Mrs. Vivian Duplantis.
Chauvin Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
