He was employed with CSX Railroad as an Engineer with 42 years of service. After retiement his dream was to have a cabin along the river at Valley Falls, where he enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, bonfires and cook outs. He graduated from Grafon High School class of 1969.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son; Edward Lee Poling, Jr., two brothers; Vernon Leo Poling and wife Rona, all of Grafton, Arthur Poling Ohio, and his two special dogs, Scooter and Daisy.
In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Barry Poling and Gerry Poling, one sister; Adonis Edens.
At Edward’s request his body was donated to the WVU Human Gift Registry.
There will be a celebration of his life on Memorial Day weekend down along the river.
