Janice Sue Boze Shelton, 77, of Madisonville, KY passed away peacefully and went home to our Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.

She was born on November 15, 1940 in Madisonville to the late Wilburn C. Boze and Mary Jane Boze. Janice retired from General Electric in 1992 after many years of service as a laborer and union steward and she was a member of Living Waters Church in Madisonville. She enjoyed reading the Bible, singing and was a huge Elvis fan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Shelton; brother, Charles Boze and a sister, Roberta Duff.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra L. Pentecost of Madisonville; son, Tony R. (Christina) Pentecost of Murfreesboro, TN ; her grandchildren that lovingly called her Nana, Shawn Amar of Madisonville and Nicholas Pentecost of TN; three great-grandchildren; brother, Ernest (Anna Carol) Boze of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Pastor Donnie Neal officiating. Burial to follow at Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville.

The visitation will be from Noon until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Janice's memory to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
