Boze) Duff, 87 of Carbondale, IL formerly of Madisonville passed with peace and grace on December 8, 2014 with family by her side.
She was born January 2, 1927 to the late Wilburn and Mary Jane (Williams) Boze. She was also preceded in death by, her loving husband, Wayne and her brother Charles Boze.
She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Madisonville. After marrying Wayne they soon began their family. She was very devoted in her faith, family and church. She enjoyed tending to her rose garden and yard. She retired from JCPenney after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who was there to care for her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandra (Phillip) Bennett of Marion, IL, Cindy (Randy) Cartmill of Tigard, OR, and Marianne (Greg) Chamness of Port Orange, FL; a son, Barry (Sandra) Duff of Madisonville, KY; grandchildren, Phillip W Bennett, Leigh Ann (Bennett) Keyser, Misty (Chamness) Dodds, Craig Cartmill, Sierra Duff, Luke Duff, Allison Cartmill, and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Sue Pentecost and brother Ernest (Anna Carol) Boze
Funeral services will be held at Barnett Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville, KY on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Bobby Reno officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Wayne Bennett, Luke Duff, Brad Keyser, Kameron Keyser, Logan Bennett and Craig Cartmill.
