Saint Cloud Daily Times, Wed. Sept. 13, 1961, p. 10:3. Christ A. Braun, 79, died Tuesday at Regal. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the St. Anthony Holy Name Society and St. Joseph's society.

Surviving are his wife, Susan and 10 children: Edith, St. Cloud, Mrs. John Bierchbach, (Aurelia), St. Cloud; Norbert, lake Placid FL; Mrs. Charles Wazlawik (Mildred) St. Paul; Mrs. Othmar Fuchs (Hilda), Traverse Air Force base CA; Mrs. Eryck Narcisse (Thecla), St. Paul; Wilfred, St. Paul; Leander, Regal, Mrs. Edward Fawcett (Olivia), Phoenix AZ; Gerald, Regal.

He was preceded in death by one son and one daughter. There are 23 grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Anna Pung, Valley City ND, and a brother, Henry Braun, Melrose. Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral home, Paynesville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Margaret's church, Lake Henry. Burial will be made in St. Anthony's cemetery, Regal. The Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
