MAUDE THACKER DIES IN ROOSEVELT

Maude Adams Thacker, 81, died November 12, 1983 in the Stewarts Convalescent Villa in Roosevelt.

Born February 10, 1902 in Dry Fork, Utah, she was a daughter of Daniel Arza and Maria Annie Gillespie Adams.

She married Frederick Lamar Thacker March 12, 1920 in Vernal and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Aug 21, 1980.

A member of the Vernal 3rd Ward, she was a Relief Society visiting teacher. She was a member of the Utopia Club, DUP Vernal Camp and Uintah's Club.

Survivors are a son, Dan Thacker of Vernal; a grandson, Cary Thacker of Vernal; three great-grandchildren, Jamie, Stephanie and Caradie; brothers and sisters, Arza G. Adams, Densel Adams, Lawrence Adams, Mrs. Arthur (Georganna) Curtis, all of Vernal and Mrs. Warren (Edna) Jones of Fountain Green, Utah.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Glines 3rd Ward Chapel. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a. m. at the Vernal Mortuary. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.

Maude Adams married Frederick Lamar Thacker on March 12, 1920 in Dry Fork (Mountain Dell), Utah.

Their son Daniel Lamar Thacker died in 2000.
