Melvina Dodd, 83, of Knobel passed away September 28, 2018 at home.
Mrs. Dodd was born December 2, 1934 in Hoxie. She was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of children and spending time with her family. She was a member of Knobel First Baptist Church.
On March 5, 1953, she married her husband of 65 years, Joe E. Dodd. He survives.
Other survivors include children Ralph E., Joe R., Michael W., and Jerry L. Dodd all of Knobel; sister Betty Lou (Arthur) Inman of Hoxie; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Lillie Mae (Tubbs) Lewis; brother Ralph K. Lewis; grandson Daniel Wayne Dodd; and great grandson Gage Dodd.
Visitation will be Sunday September 30, 2018 from 1 to 3 P.M. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 3 P.M. Burial will be in Pirtle Cemetery, Peach Orchard.
