Born Aug. 2, 1937, in Charleston, she was a daughter o f the late Wesley and Hettie Woods Ables.
She worked or Williams Woodworking Company, Sutton, for 18 years and also for Greathouse & Son Garage. She was a member of First Baptist Temple, Chapel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Bud Ables.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with Pastor Bill Carr officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Chapel.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
