Springdale, AR - Bert (Buck) Foster, 93, of Springdale, died Tuesday, January 25, 2012 at his home after a long illness. He was born August 23, 1918, in Spartanburg, SC, to Ben L. and Essie Mae Blume Foster. Bert worked for Gray Brothers Bag Company, retiring after many years of service. He attended Turner Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Foster of the home; two sons, Mark Foster and wife Tracy of Springdale and Bert W. Foster of Spartanburg, SC; three daughters, Barbara Crocker and husband Wayne and Norma Parker and husband Larry all of Spartanburg, SC, and Frances Foster of Atlanta, GA; one step daughter, Sharon Williamson of Highlands Ranch, CO; three brothers and three sisters, Edward Foster, Frank Foster, Lewis Foster, Margaret Hutto, Mary Hughes and Lucille Keegan all of South Carolina; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale with Pastor Mark Mcuen officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
