Florence Dube of Bristol, widow of Joseph Dube, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at BristolHospital. Florence was born in Caribou, ME on April 12, 1930 and was a daughter of the late Elie and Elodie (Parent) Gagnon. She was a longtime Bristol resident and retired from Marlin-Rockwell, in Plainville. She was a member of St. Ann Church, Bristol. and The Ladies of St. Ann. She enjoyed playing bingo, scratching lottery tickets and trips to the casino. Florence is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Jerry and his wife Paula of Forestville, and Steve and his wife Linda, of Canton, two daughters and sons in law, Diane Soucy and her husband Dennis, and AnneMarie Pikora and her husband David, all of Bristol, a sister and brother in law, Eva Ouellette and her husband Armand, of Van Buren, ME, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Nelson and Melvin Dube, three brothers, Clarence and Nelson Gagnon, and Joseph Ayotte, and three sisters, Beatrice and Mamie St. Pierre and Winnie Gardner. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 12, 2009, 9 A.M. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. AnnChurch for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday March 11, 2009 between 5 and 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301Robbinsville, NJ08691-4183.
