Isabelle Ferrell, 87, Route 1, Surgoinsville, died 2 a.m. yesterday at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
A member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Alfred Ferrell, a son, Joseph M. Ferrell Sr., and a daughter Margaret V. Ferrell.
Surviving are one son, Luther J. Ferrell, Church Hill; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; one sister, Nappie Davis, Rogersville.
