AKA: Ada Johnson McCallister Hann
BUHL, — Mrs. Ada McCallister Hann, 80, long-time Buhl resident, died at Magic Valley Memorial hospital Wednesday morning after a short illness.
Born in Crane, Mo., Nov. 17, 1892, she married James McCallister Aug. 1, 1908, at Aurora, Mo. They moved to Idaho on 1917, making their home in the Twin Falls and Buhl areas. Mr. McCallister died June 21, 1942.
She later married Claude Hann on March 31, 1945, in Twin Falls. He died Jan, 20, 1960.Mrs. Hann was a member of the Buhl Christian Church, the Berean Class and Hobbycrafters Club
She is survived by five daughters. Mrs. Florence Steward, Mrs. Art (Helen) Dey and Mrs. Charles (Lucille) Robinson, all Twin Falls; Mrs. Alene Johnson, Kennewick, Wash., and Mrs. Mildred Davis, Pasco, Wash.; one son, Harold R. McCallister, Bremerton, Wash.; two brothers, Rex Johnson, Stockton, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Irvyn (Fern) ,Sandau, Stockton; Mrs. Dorsey (Katherine) Miller, Twin Falls; Mrs. Irma Rider, Gilroy, Calif.; Mrs. Joe (Faye) Bower, Encinitas, Calif., and Mrs. Lydia Ghan, Portland, Ore.; 26 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hann will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Buhl Christian Church by Rev. Harrie S. Young. Burial in the Buhl Cemetery. Friends may call at White Mortuary in Twin Falls until 10 a.m. Saturday.
