SHAMROCK - Eloise Haws, 98, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, in McLean.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Calvary Christian Fellowship Church with Z.A. Myers and Joe Jernigan officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Bailey-Ware Funeral Home of McLean.

Eloise Haws, 98, of Shamrock passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at the McLean Care Center.

Mrs. Haws was born Sept. 15, 1908, in Ada, Okla., to A.B. and Rena Pike. She married Calvin "Cotton" Haws on Oct. 31, 1925, in Shamrock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cotton Haws; a son, Calvin Haws; a daughter, Vickie Trainer; and a great-granddaughter, Vanessa Berger.

Survivors include nine children, Velda Young and husband Carl of Chewlah, Wash., Pearl Coates of Greeley, Colo., Lawrence Haws and wife Phyllis of Fort Morgan, Colo., Verdell Haws of Hiawatha, Kan., Lavone Disney and husband Bud of Golden, Colo., Dexter Haws and wife Beverly of Groom and Sharon Trainer of Cheyenne, Wyo. They also raised a granddaughter, Tammie Green and husband David of Pampa.

Survivors also include 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Odyssey Healthcare, 6900 W. Interstate 40, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.
