Frank Adams Found Dead At Blue Jay camp
Frank Adams, aged 63 years, a native of Pittsburgh, was found dead on the floor of the Blue jay camp, near Marienville, at about 9 o’clock last Wednesday morning, May 25,1938, his death being due to heart failure. Adams, who had been a resident of the camp for one month, ate his breakfast as usual and went to change his cloths, where he died instantly.
Adams, who was single, was born Jan. 25,1875, and leaves no known relatives. The Blue Jay camp, which was formerly known as a Transient Camp, is now being conducted under the U.S. Forest Service regulations and Adams was an employee of the U.S. Government Emergency Relief.
Coroner E.W. Pifer, of Tionesta, investigate the case Wednesday afternoon and issued a death certificate giving heart failure as the cause, no inquest being held.
After funeral services on Saturday, May 28th, interment was made in the Marienville Cemetery.
