Died -- FAW -- in Gonzales, June 3, 1891, of broncho-pneumonia, Mrs. Jennie P. FAW, beloved wife of Hon. Thomas F. FAW, in the 34th year of her age. [Funeral service at the Baptist Church, Gonzales, Friday, June 5th, at 2:30p.m. Interment at the Gonzales cemetery.]

-Thos. F. FAW has had a beautiful memorial window placed in the Baptist church there in memory of his beloved wife, Jennie Gilbert FAW, lately deceased.

From Pastor Ed LEE - Gonzales Community Presbyterian Church in Monterey County, California in 2002:
"Jennie was the first church organist here and we have a photograph of her. She had extremely long dark hair that touched the ground when she was seated. From our records, it appears that she died in 1891. In 1892, Thomas had a stained glass window installed in the church in her memory. It is the oldest and most beautiful of the windows."
