CLAIR B. BURKET

Mr. Burket, 81, formerly of 200 W. Allegheny St., Martinsburg, and Williamsburg RD 2, died at 6:05 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 1992, at Morrisons Cove Home, Martinsburg, following an extended illness.
Mr. Burket retired as a lifelong dairy farmer in Piney Creek, Williamsburg RD 2, in 1973.
He was born Feb. 6, 1911, in Huston Township, Martinsburg RD 2, the son of Harry S. and Keren (Baker) Burket.
He marred Minnie E. Settle on Aug. 6, 1932, in Martinsburg. She died Jan. 18, 1988.
Surviving are three children: Betty L Keith of Curryville, Leonard R. of Williamsburg RD 2 and Carol A. Pheasant of Roaring Spring: 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister and two brothers: Kathryn Stombaugh and Herman B. of Martinsburg and Chester of Roaring Spring.
Mr. Burket was a member and deacon of Smithfield Church of the Brethren, Williamsburg RD, where he was a former Sunday School teacher and served on various church boards.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at John C. Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

BURKET — Services for Clair B. Burket of Morrisons Cove Home, Martinsburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Smithfield Church of the Brethren, Williamsburg RD, by the Rev. Walter Snyder.
Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at John C. Bulger Funeral Home Inc. Martinsburg.
A son. Donald E., died July 25, 1956, and a granddaughter, Tuna Marie Pheasant, died May 14, 1987.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to Smithfield Church of the Brethren.
