Jeanette R. Trottier
LEBANON - Jeanette Robertson Trottier, 107, of Lebanon died Saturday at her daughter's Portland home.
She was born in Eureka, Utah, the daughter of David and Janet (Douglas) Adamson. She lived in Scofield, Utah, and Wellington, British Columbia, before moving to Salt Lake City in 1907.
She married Roy Trottier on June 4, 1912. They lived in Salt Lake City until Mr. Trottier retired in 1950. They moved to Lebanon to be near a daughter. Mr. Trottier died Oct. 4, 1956.
Mrs. Trottier belonged to the Lebanon First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She especially enjoyed teaching and taught many church classes, most of the time the adult class.
Surviving are daughters LaVonne Julian of Salt Lake City, Velma Konold of Portland, and Sharon Klavano of Lebanon; and 17 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren.
Two daughters died earler, Lillian Place on Dec. 2, 1993 and Jeanette Egbert on June 28, 1995. A granddaughter and 11 brothers and sisters also died before Mrs. Trottier.
Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Fifth and Airport streets. Mrs. Trottier's funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with Bishop Mike Von Cannon officiating.
Another service will be held at Larkin Funeral Home in Salt Lake City. Burial will be at Salt Lake City Cemetery.
Huston Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
