She was born April 10, 1925, in Nilwood, the daughter of James Martin and Effie Hughes Calwell.
She married Edward L. Brown; he died in 1983.
Mrs. Brown-Page graduated from Brown's Business College. She worked for the Greyhound Bus Depot and later in food preparation at DICKEY-john Corp. in Auburn.
Survivors: a son, Michael Taylor of Springfield; a daughter, Tammy Starks of Girard; six grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Calwell of Sherman; a sister, Mable Nation of Orlando, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Calvert and Ferry Funeral Home, Virden, the Rev. Perry Perrett officiating.
Burial: Virden Cemetery.
