VIRDEN - Edward Leo Brown, 71, of Virden died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 1983, at Carlinville Area Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Leona; one son, Michael Taylor, of Springfield; one daughter, Tammy Allen, of Girard; two brothers, Leland Brown, of Virden; and Ernest Brown, of Kokomo, Ind.; three sisters, Marie Staton, of Waverly; Ruth Colburn, of Virden; and Emma DeVoe, of Auburn; five grandchildren.
Services were at Berry Funeral Home, Virden.
Burial was in Virden Cemetery.
