Nettie Mai (Jones) Campbell was born on April 15, 1878 in Tennessee, the daughter of Benjamin Bower "Ben" Jones (1834–1901) and Mary E (Stovall) Jones (ca 1849–1893).
She was married about 1899 as the 1st wife of James Taylor Campbell (1869–1968), and they were divorced about 1918.
In Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, she was 47 years old when she died at the home of her brother Herman W Jones at three miles Hyde's Ferry Road on Wednesday, May 20, 1925.
Survivors included sons Horace Allen in Detroit, Michigan and Robert W Campbell of Nashville, sisters Mrs Susie Brannon, Mrs J C Smith and Mrs Rosa Roy at Nelson, British Columbia, brothers B B Jones, M A Jones, Henry Jones, Ed Jones, Sam Jones and Herman W Jones.
Funeral Services were held on May 23rd at the home of her brother Herman, and burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville.
