TROY--Harry P. Moore, 55, of 300 S. Hickory St. died Thursday at 7:40 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, where he had been a patient one day. He was a retired coal miner and laborer.
Born Aug. 31, 1908 in Chicopee, Kan., he was the son of the late Patrick and Ellen McMahon Moore.
Surviving are two brothers and one sister, Joseph of San Bernardino, Calif., Robert of Collinsville and Mrs. Kathleen Berterello of Troy.
Mr. Moore was a member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church and Laborers Local 382.
Friends may call at the Edwards Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited tonight at 8 o'clock. A Requiem Mass will be read Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jerome's Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph V. Dineen, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles Cravens, Glen West, Jim Sartoris, John Weider, Wilbur Wiesemeyer and Homer Gum.
