Esther Jane Brooks, a sister to Pink Brooks, was born in Bartow County Georgia. She was married to William Frances Russell, who ,after her death moved back to Georgia with their five children, Luna, Sallie, Homer, Houston and the surviving twin infant who soon died and is buried in Stamp Creek Cemetery in Bartow County, Georgia.

Wm Russell has returned from Texas with his children-five in number. His wife died while in Texas. She was a daughter of W. C. Brooks, of Bartow County.
