DERWOOD LILLY, 25, CLAIMED BY DEATH

Son of Mr. and. Mrs. Albert Lilly, of True, Succumbs

Derwood Lilly, 25, of Corine, son of Mr. ahd Mrs. Albert Lilly, of True, died In the Raleigh General hospital at Beckley this morning at 2:15 oclock of a heart ailment.

He had been in ill health for several years but was admitted to the hospital only six days ago.

He was born in Summers county and spent most of his life in the True sector, only recently having .moved to Corine.

Funeral services will be held at I the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lilly, at True Thursday afternoon at 2:00 oclock with the Rev. Richard Lilly, of Jumping Branch, officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery on Bluestone river.

Besides his parents, survivors Include his wife, Mrs. Phyllis Thompson Lilly, an infant son; three brothers, Perry Lilly, of True; Garvus Lilly, with the U. S. army overseas, and Trelee Lilly, with the U. S. navy; and three sisters, Mrs. Lena Wills, of Ellison, Mrs. Shirley McClure, of Roanoke, Va., and Miss Velma Lilly, of Coal City.
