Saturday, rather late afternoon Bill Brookshier called me and asked if I knew who was being buried at Prairie Ridge. I told Bill I really had no idea, as I had not heard. He said he passed by coming home. The tent was up and a flag draped casket was under it and around fourteen or fifteen cars were parked there. Finally I said Bill, if you would call True Sweatman, he would know. Within just a few minutes, Bill called back and said True said it was Russell Davis, son of B. Frank Davis that lived northwest of Polo for years. True said he had no particulars about it, they just called him about the grave and told who it was and that he had passed away on Thursday. I have been trying to find out more, but most people I have asked had not even heard it.
