WICKS - Elizabeth L., 96, Laurelwood Convalescent Home, formerly of Main Street, South Fork, died Sept. 22, 1992, at the home. Born Feb. 29, 1896, in Carrolltown, daughter of James and Isabell (Afford) McDonald. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph L. Wicks; son, James; and 18 sisters and brothers. Survived by these children: Leroy, married to former Beverly Brunner, Euclid, Ohio; Betty, wife of Dr. Emmett Riley, Los Angeles, Calif.; Harold, married to Doreen, Litchfield, Conn.; and Robert E., married to former Agnes Morasky, Johnstown R.D. 2; also 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Member of St. James Catholic Church, South Fork. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James church, the Rev. Louis J. Mulvehill. Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
