A. Irene Abbe, 84, of 27 N. 13th St., Allentown, formerly of Windsor, Conn., died Monday [20 Jun 1983] in the Leader Nursing Home, Bethlehem.
She was a secretary for Travelers, Inc., Hartford, Conn., for 40 years before retiring in 1965.
Born in Windsor Locks, Conn., she was a daughter of the late Daniel O. and Emma Jane (Gallagher) Abbe.
She was a member of Christ Church Episcopal, Hartford, Conn.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Florence Marsh of Allentown.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Horace W. Schantz Funeral Home, 3rd and Main streets, Emmaus. There will be no calling hours.
