Vera Carlson funeral is held
Burdick:
Mrs. Vera Carlson, 62, of Burdick died last Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
She was born Feb. 8, 1920 at Ramona. She was the daughter of Jacot and Edith Meier.
Vera was married to Harold R. Carlson on Aug. 18, 1939 at Ramona.
She was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church and County Liners Extension Homemakers Unit, both of Burdick.
Survivors include her husband, Harold, of the home; a son, Glenn of Burdick; a daughter, Shirley Ann Parrish of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Dale Meier, of Lodi, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Friday afternoon at the Hebron Lutheran Church with the Rev. Philip Youngquist officiating.
Burial was in the Lewis Cemetery, Ramona, with Donahue Funeral Home of Herington in charge of arrangements.
Memorials have been requested to the church.
