A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 6, 2018, at St. George Baptist Church Cemetery, Orangeburg, SC, with the Rev. Steve Dees officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. At other times, friends may call at the residence.
Lawrence was born son of the late Eddie A. Fogle and Bertha Blewer Fogle. He was a farmer, and co-owner of J.L. & M.A. Fogle Farm, and Fogle Brothers Construction Co. He was a lifelong member of St. George Baptist Church. He was an avid gardener, and shared his harvest with family and friends as recently as this summer. Lawrence enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Vallerie Garrick Fogle, of the home; son, Larry Fogle, of Orangeburg; daughters, Karen Gaston (Joseph) of Greer, Susan Hammond (David) of Cordova, Lori Perry of Denver, CO, and Vonda Myers (Scott) of Cordova; grandchildren Erin G. Morgan, Caleb Gaston, Lawrence Fogle, III, Lauren H. Etheridge, Marina H. Gustines, Palmer Hammond, Brodie Myers, and Reese Myers; 4 great grandchildren; brother Albert Fogle; brother-in-law Buck Gray; sisters-in-law Nan Fogle, Ruth Kizer, Linda O'Dell, and June Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
