Harold S. Eves, 70, of 206 Locust St., Wrightsville, died Tuesday morning of natural causes at Heatherbank Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Columbia, where he had resided since July 9. Retiring in 1985 after 34 years, Eves was a maintenance department worker for AMP Inc., Mount Joy. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Eves was a 1947 graduate of Columbia High School. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Vincent and Martha Zuch Eves. He was married to Fay Griffith Eves for 38 years on Dec. 3. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Harold S. Jr. of York; two daughters, Barbara Ellen, married to Keith Altman of Wilmington, NC, and Stacia R. of Maytown; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and four sisters, Catherine Beale of Lancaster, Margaret Gibson of Columbia, Geraldine Wolf of York, and Martha Eleanor, married to Charles Schlossman of Mountville.
