Survived by husband, Marvin E. "Buster" Walton, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Mauri Walton George, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Brenda Walton Melancon, Prairieville; a son, Jimmy Mark Walton, Baton Rouge; three sisters, Fannie Burleigh, Sunset, Ruby Bardwell, Opelousas, and Lallie Smith, Washington; three brothers, Albert Pefferkorn, Shertz, Texas, Donald and Dale Pefferkorn, both of Opelousas; and nine grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Trista Melancon.
Pallbearers will be Michael Keesing, Warren George, Victor J. Maddie, G.R. Walton Jr., Dale Pefferkorn and Don Melancon.
Honorary pallbearers are Albert and Donald Pefferkorn.
She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.
