Harold Moss Bair, 92, of Manti, passed away at his home May 27, 1994.
He was born August 31, 1901 in Alpine, Utah to Joseph Elmer and Eliza Moss Bair. He married Leah Grace Bateman January 17, 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died May 6, 1966 in Glenwood Springs Colorado. They spent the early part of their married life on a sheep ranch in Alpine. In 1939 Harold moved his sheep business to Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He and his family were active in organizing a branch of the LDS Church in Glenwood Springs.
After his wife passed away, Harold accepted a call to the Manti Temple. In 1987 he married Maria Edwards of Manti. After 23 years of service at the Manti Temple, he was released in 1991 at the age of 91.
He is survived by his wife Maria; two sons; Glen and (Edna) of Provo and Clyde and (Doris) of Lehi, Utah; eight grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Manti 4th LDS Ward where friends may call Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Alpine City Cemetery under the direction of Buchanan Mortuary.
