Funeral Services will be held Friday at the Ralph J Wittich Funeral Home for Isaac Charles Blake, 72, who died Tuesday night at his home 1606 Indiana Street. --- Mr. Blake was born September 6,1879 in Louisa County the son of James and Stella Day Blake. He had been a resident of Muscatine the past 29 years. He was a retired button cutter. --- His marriage to Phoebe Denham took place October 27,1900. She survives along with two sons, James and Andrew of Muscatine, two daughters Violet Loving of New Boston and Neva Spitznogle of Muscatine, two brothers, Louis of Letts and John of Muscatine, two sisters, Hattie McGrew of Letts and Rettie Singleton of Pleasant Prairie, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, three brothers and one sister.

Muscatine Journal Friday August 17,1951 ---- The funeral rites of Isaac Charles Blake were held this afternoon at the Ralph J Wittich Funeral Home. The Rev. Vernon Overturf, pastor of the Musserville Methodist Church was in charge. Flower attendants were Ethel Haller, Edna Morgan, Bessie Swick and Jessie Jones. The Pal bearers were Harley Blake, Everett Blake, Madeleo Blake, Eldon Blake, Lindsey Blake and Emery Blake. Burial was in the Cedar Bethel Cemetery.
