Funeral Held for Early Fremont County Resident

Mrs. Adrena B. Wilson Succumbs in Southern Utah

St. Anthony, Feb. 15-Last rites for Mrs. Adrena Barlow Wilson, 80, pioneer of Fremont county, were conducted Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Yellowstone L. D. S. stake tabernacle here by Bishop Sidney Nelson.

Mrs. Wilson died Monday in St. George, Utah, where she had gone two months ago to work in the L. D. S. temple there.

Born October 19, 1859, in Salt Lake City, Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of Aswald and Katherine Nightingale Barlow. She married Henry Wilson November 26, 1874, in the St. George L. D. S. Temple. The couple lived in San Pete (sic) county, Utah, until 1892 when they came to this locality, settling at Twin Groves.

Mr. Wilson, a farmer, passed away in 1904.

Survivors include three daughters and a son: Mrs. Adrena W. Young and Mrs. Mina Richards of St. Anthony; Mrs. Hazel Duke of Burbank, California; and Henry L. Wilson of Menan. She had 21 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Two sisters, Mrs. Alice Blake of St. George and Mrs. Carolina Luke of Junction, Illinois, also survive.

Burial was in the Wilford cemetery under the direction of W. M. Hansen mortuary.
