Mr. Lamon was born in Sweden, Sept. 22, 1865, and came to America in 1881. He had resided in Moline since that year. He was married to Miss Caroline Peterson in Moline, April 30, 1895. She and their daughter Helen survive. He was a member of the Swedish Lutheran church. He held membership in the Swedish Olive lodge No. 583, I. O. O. F.; Moline camp No. 38, Modern Woodmen of America, and Moline lodge No. 36, Mystic Workers of the World. His parents, a sister, and a brother, reside in Sweden. One brother, Axel Lamon, resides in Moline.
