The Rev. A. J. Hulbert, 76, Sister Bay, died at his home Tuesday morning, May 11. The retired Baptist minister was born in Sweden July 11, 1884 and married Marie Anderson Mar. 1, 1921.
He was a member of the First Baptist church in Sister Bay and the Senior Citizens of Northern Door county.
Survivors include his wife Marie of Sister Bay; one son Paul Hulbert, Sister Bay; one daughter Mrs. Rudolph (Evangeline Mae) Scheerer, Hinsdale, Ill., and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Casperson funeral home after 2 p.m. this Thursday until noon on Friday and then at the First Baptist church until time of services. The Rev. Lester Weko will officiate at rites set for 2 p.m. Friday. Interment Little Sister cemetery.
