VIOLA L. "TUFFY" BOSLER

Mass of Christian Burial for Viola L. (Tuffy) Bosler was held Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at St. Joseph Church in Union City with Rev. Lance Warren and Deacon Lloyd Menz officiating.

Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Tuffy died July 13, 2018, at Autumn Leaves in Oklahoma City.

She was born Aug. 23, 1932, in Union City and lived there all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church, the Altar Society, Shamrock Extension Homemakers Club and Holiday Ramblers Travel Group.

On Jan. 24, 1951, she married Louis S. Bosler. Louis preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 2001.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Frederick and Olga Anna (Kolar) Boevers; son, John Bosler; great-granddaughter, Samantha Woods; sisters, Magdalena Cox, Olga Feddersen and Stella Boevers; and a brother, Buddy Boevers.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph S. and Carol Bosler of Union City; daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Gary Griffith of Newcastle, Peggy Woods of Union City, Pauline and Mike Garrett of Union City and Patsy and Cleatus Alexander, also of Union City; sister, June Ninman of Union City; eight grandsons, two granddaughters and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
