Frances Foushee Timberlake, 97, of Timberlake died Sunday, July 15, 2018. She was born in Person County to the late Charles Louis Foushee and Nannie W. Foushee and wife of the late Guy Jackson Timberlake, Sr. In addition, Mrs. Timberlake was preceded in death by two sons, John F. Timberlake and David R. Timberlake; and daughter-in-law, Susan K. Timberlake. She was the last surviving sibling of four girls and one son. Mrs. Timberlake was the oldest member of Helena United Methodist Church and graduated from Watts School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She loved to play bridge and played duplicate bridge into her mid-nineties.
Surviving are two sons, Jack Timberlake, of Cary; Charles L. Timberlake and wife Angie, of Timberlake; daughter-in-laws, Laurie C. Timberlake, of Cary and Barbara Jo Timberlake, of Apex; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Helena United Methodist Church with Pastor Lisa Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Person Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.
