Funeral services for Dorsey Noel, 69, of 1104 Alamo St., will be at 10 a.m., Monday, July 26, from St. Margaret Catholic Church. The Rev. Steve Conner will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation hours will begin at 2:30 p.m. today, with a rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. today, in the funeral home. Mr. Noel died Saturday, at his residence.
A native of Arnaudville, he was a member of Painters Local 783. He had lived in Lake Charles 30 years.
Survivors include four sons, Edward, Frederick, John and James Noel, all of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Theresa Wiggins of Fairhope, Ala. and Mrs. Mary Ann LeJeune of Houston; four brothers, Willie Noel of Chicago, Norvin Noel of Bridge City, Texas, Noah and George Noel, both of Opelousas; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Perceoli of Tulsa, Okla.; 17 grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.
