Edgar Clarence Pyle, with his twin, Eben Walter, were the 6th and 7th children of Etna Maurice Sr. and Susan Stanley Pyle, a twin to Eben Walter Pyle. They were born in Barber County Nov. 7, 1882 the first location the family settled in Kansas on their journey West from Missouri. They traveled in a Covered Wagon. By 1884, the Pyle family had moved to their final destination in Kiowa County, Kansas. Over the years, the exact location of Edgar's grave has been forgotten.

Gravesite Details
Edgar's burial place is unknown. He died when the family lived near Sun City. Residents still know a legend that a baby is buried on the hill outside town. That baby could easily be Edgar, but no one knows the exact location of his grave.
