Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Pastor Joyce Webb of the First United Methodist Church in Coon Rapids officiating. Burial will be in the Dedham Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, where visitation will be held until the time of the service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll.
Born on November 29, 1933 in Carroll, IA, Cleo was the daughter of Frank and Annie Mary (Steinenger) Lehrkamp. She grew up in Carroll and was married to Doug Ankenbauer in Kirksville, Missouri. Cleo loved her family dearly. She was a very good cook and enjoyed family gatherings which included poker games, reading her books, and going to the casino.
Cleo is survived by her three children: Deb (Jerry), Ken (Joan), and Tina (Dave); six grandchildren: Ryan, Dan, Brad, Andra, Amanda and Emily; seven great-grandchildren: Thomas, Andrew, Kinzly, Benjamin, Letti, Bailey and Jackson; two sisters: Naomi and Mary.
Cleo was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Douglas; four brothers: Kenneth, Bob, Larry, and Paul; a sister Shirley Squires; and a great grandson Zachary James McDonald.
