Visitation for Vanessa Alcala will be held at the family's residence (701 Cannon Avenue #B) on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 beginning at 4:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (721 E. Belle Terrace) on Thursday morning, April 26, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. On April 20, 2007, Vanessa Alcala entered Heaven with her unborn child. Vanessa was born and raised in Bakersfield. She enjoyed spending lots of time with her son. She loved life, she graduated from East High School. She attended college at Bakersfield College. She was outgoing, having fun spending time with close friends. Vanessa is survived by her mother, Victoria Conejo; son, Jadanie Alcala; brothers, Carlos and Hector Maldonado; fiancé, Albert Darrett as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
