Mrs. H. W. Miller, of Jetmore. stricken suddenly while changing cars here.
While walking along main street yesterday afternoon, on her way from the Santa Fe depot to the Rock Island, changing cars, Mrs. Mary J. Miller, aged 57 years, wife of H. W. Miller of near Jetmore, was suddenly taken ill in front of the Colladay Hardware store.
Dropping her grip and grasping the arm of a man passing her, she gasped, "My God, there's something the matter." She was carried into Colladay Hardware Store, and from there was taken in an ambulance to the Stewart Hospital.
There she lingered until about 7 o'clock last evening, when she died. Dr. G. H. Gage who attended her, pronounced her death due to apoplexy.

It was her intention to visit with four daughters in the vicinity of Partridge and Pretty Prairie. Her husband arrived from Jetmore this morning, and will take the body back home for interment.
