Rosann H. Prusynski passed away June 22, 2018, at the Jennings McCall Center in Forest Grove, Oregon, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born September 3, 1926, in Wausau, Wisconsin, to Basil and Eunice (LeMense) Barton. Rosann grew up in Wisconsin Rapids with five brothers and liked to say she was a "Rose among the thorns". She graduated from Lincoln High School and worked as a dental assistant.

George and Rosann were married September 2, 1950, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids and moved to Milwaukee, where their five children were born. George's career as a hospital administrator took them to North Dakota, Kansas, Iowa, Washington and then to Hillsboro, Oregon, where they retired. They traveled in a progression of motor homes, wintering in Arizona for several years, and were active in the Family Motor Coach Association, the Elks' Camper Club and the Roamin' Catholics.

Rosann was active in the Catholic churches wherever they lived. She was a member of the Altar Society and choir at St. Matthew Parish of Hillsboro. She loved music. She played the piano and had a beautiful voice. In addition to singing in church choirs, she sang constantly to her children at home. She loved children, especially babies, and was most proud of her family.

Rosann is survived by her husband, George, daughter, Diane (Larry) Blankenship and four sons; Mark (Linda), Michael (Reme), Gregory (Kelly) and Brian (Bethany). She has 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Lloyd, Howard, Bruce, Francis and William.
