Born August 1, 1940 in New Philadelphia, Indiana, he was the son of the late Green Berry and Addie Bryant. He was raised by his guardians: Paul and Ruth Rutherford (his half-sister).
He was a retired employee of GKN and the Salem Speedway and was a member of the Bunker Hill Christian Church.
On August 26, 1958 he married Helen L. (Saylor) Bryant, who survives .
Also surviving are: Daughter: Jeanetta Hopkins; 2 Sons: Paul and Raymond Bryant; 2 Brothers: Roy Bryant and Paul R. Rutherford; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren all of Salem.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, his guardians, 2 sisters, 14 brothers and a grandson, Landon Bryant.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Sunday and 9 am until the time of the service on Monday
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home followed by interment in Beech Grove Cemetery.
