Charles was a very good carpenter who enjoyed gardening and working on his farm.
Survivors include one daughter, Marcia Bellomy (Millard, Jr.); two brothers, Lawrence Ervin Bryant (Helen) and Roy Bryant; one sister, Ruth Rutherford; two granddaughters, Megan Bellomy and Andrea Kirby; one son-in-law, Frank Kirby; and several nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Geraldine Bryant; one daughter, Peggy Kirby; 11 brothers, William Lee Bryant, Edward Harrison Bryant, Paul Bryant, James Amon Bryant, Jasper O. Bryant, George Bryant, Harry Bryant, Burgess Bryant, John Bryant, Ross Bryant, and Ernest Bryant; and four sisters, Bertha Bryant, Joan Wilbur, Bessie Bryant, and Lucinda Bryant.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Garden View Funeral Home with Pastor Sharon Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Fairview United Methodist Church, 11048 W. SR 28, Redkey, IN 47374. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
