On May 29, 1953 she married John Bennett in Grand Rapids.
Mary worked in various restaurants throughout her life and retired from the Alma College kitchen at the age of 90.
Mary is survived by two daughters; Carol Woodcock of Alma and Ann (Kurt) Kelly of Beaverton, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister Leah.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, son-in-law, Steve Woodcock, three brothers; William, Don and Earl and three sisters; Ruth, Erma and Marge.
A family graveside service was held at Coe Township Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma.
