MARY ALMA BLACKSHEAR MURLEY

Mrs. Mary Murley, 85, of Leonard passed away December 2, 1987 at Leonard Nursing Home.
Services were held Friday in Taylor Funeral Chapel with Don Stidham of Trenton Church of Christ and Charles Wrenn of Leonard Church of Christ.
Mrs. Murley was born in Hill County, on March 10, 1902, a daughter of Jacob Thomas Blackshear and Emma Elizabeth Curtis Blackshear, and married William Thomas Murley on April 19, 1923, in Leonard.
She was a member of Trenton Church of Christ.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Otis (Audrey Catherine) Proffitt of Whitesboro; sons, Joe C. Murley and Tommy Cole Murley, both of Leonard; sister, Mrs. Josie Adele Haskins of Greenville; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ed Fuller, Med Williams, Ronnie Robinson, Boyd Robinson, David Welch and Charles Blackshear.
