"Catharina Dumond was born the last day of 1734 in Kingston to Johannes Walrandse Dumond (1701-1741) and his wife Rachael Egbertse Schoonmaker (1700-1765). She was baptized when she was nearly 5 years old on 18 December 1739, in the RDC in Kingston. Her marriage baans were posted there on 10 December 1763 to Petrus Brink (1729-1818). The actual date of the marriage is not recorded. Together they had the following children: Pieter, born 10 Mar 1765; Cornelius, born 15 Nov 1767; Sarah born about 1769; Johannes, born 24 May 1770,(all born in Hurley); Rachel, born 7 Mar 1773; and Catharina, born 19 Mar 1775, both in Stone Ridge, Marbletown Twp. Petrus and family moved back to Hurley some time after the Revolution. She survived her husband by five years, and was buried alongside of him."
