Mr. Richard Clarence Carlson of Kent, formerly of Stanton, son of Otto Julius Carlson and Ann Marie Josephson, was born April 5, 1905 in Page County, Iowa, died Wednesday night, June 21, 1961 at the Clarinda Municipal Hospital following an illness of two weeks. Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Mamrelund Lutheran Church at Stanton at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Johnson officiating and Sellergren Funeral Home in Charge. Interment in Mamrelund Cemetery at Stanton. Mr. Carlson is the father of Mrs. Jimmie Raney. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of their neighbors and friends.
