She was born February 11, 1915 in Marinette, Wisconsin. She had attended The First united Methodist Church in Waukegan; she was a member of the U.S. Steel Retirement Club and the AARP.
She is survived by her husband, Rudolph; 2 daughters, Patricia (George) Alexoff of Gurnee and Judith (Michael) Sutter of Libertyville; 6 grandchildren, Lisa (James) Rydberg of Grayslake, George Alexoff of Mundelein, Nancy Alexoff of Gurnee, Ryan Lepke of Libertyville, Matthew Lepke and Bevin Sutter, both of Libertyville. She was preceded by 2 daughters, Marilyn and Nancy Alvord in 1950 and 2 sisters, Florence Wilson and Arleyn Keyes, 4 brothers, Melvin, Edward, Elmer and Ruben Gustafson.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, September 8, 1990 from the MARSH FUNERAL HOME OF WAUKEGAN, 1521 Washington St. with Rev. Fred Lippert officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM on Friday and from 10 AM Saturday till time of service. Memorials may be made in her name to The Lake County Chapter of The American Heart Association.
